It’s a cute idea to ask your bridesmaids with a ‘proposal’ gift (link). But what about the groomsmen? Men deserve just as much love and attention so here are some creative ways to ask ‘Will you be my grooms-man?’
A card
Simple and straight to the point is often the best. Purchase a pre-designed card and hand-write a meaningful message. There’s plenty of online stores, like Etsy, that sell these, with a huge range of designs and whitty quotes to choose from.
A small gift
Now you’ve got the card sorted, what about a token gift to go with it? If the budget isn’t that big, you can always treat your best man and groomsmen to a small something, just to show your appreciation and to get them excited for the task that lies ahead. A tie, an inexpensive watch, small bottles of spirits or even socks can be a great little gesture. Etsy has some great personalised gift ideas for groomsmen include flasks, socks and beer glasses!
Something for the big day
Get your groomsmen looking dapper on the big day with some matching accessories. Cufflinks are a thoughtful gift and will help make sure your buddies look stylish. Gift sets
If you have multiple ideas for your grooms-men then how about making them a gift set? Splash out on one full of luxurious things, or put together one of your own full of things you know the groomsmen will love like snacks, liquor and CD’s. You could also put a few toiletries together to pamper the boys for your wedding day –soap, deodorant, moisturiser, a comb and aftershave all in a neat wash bag.
