Summer HIIT workout

It’s time to turn it up a notch and get summer started with a HIIT workout!

I love HIIT (high intensity interval training) because you get so many benefits in a short amount of time! HIIT workouts consist of many different exercises so you never get bored.

Here is a fantastic tried and tested routine to tone and tighten your entire body while raising your heart rate and increasing your metabolism! This workout is designed to be done at your own pace but you MUST complete the four rounds within 45 minutes.

Have fun and get ready to SWEAT!!

Warm-up: Do a light stretch and at least 15 minutes of cardio. This can include a jog, bike or eliptical. For an extra sweaty start, try the stair-master! I did 15 minutes of stair-master interval training, switching up between walking and running up the stairs.


50 squats
50 lunges
50 pushups
250 rope waves OR 50 thrusters


100 squats
75 TRX rows
50 pushups
35 burpees


9 burpees
9 kettlebell swings
9 pushups
9 tuck jumps
9 TRX squat jumps


21 burpees
21 kettlebell swings
21 pushups
21 tuck jumps
21 TRX squat jumps
